The HSP Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) is an electronic database in which researchers can search by title, author, and subject for:

• books, pamphlets, and works on microfilm
• serials (including some serials in the Balch Institute collections)
• newspapers (at this time excluding newspapers in the Balch Institute collections)
• assembled genealogical collections
• the Philadelphia Record photograph morgue
• the Perkins and Campbell scrapbook collections
• collection-level records for manuscript collections with links to online finding aids
