Do you have info on Quakers that moved from Penn to the Orange county area of North Carolina in the 18th century. There is a Quaker cemetery outside of Hillsboro NC but the tombstones are unreadable..

Great question! A first step to finding out would be to search for Orange County, North Carolina, in our online catalog, Discover (http://discover.hsp.org/), to see what records we might have. If something of interest pops up, you can come to HSP to check out the material. Or you can utilize our different research services (http://hsp.org/collections/library-services/research-by-mail) if you can't come to HSP in person.

Good luck, and feel free to email our library if you have any further questions.
